Poached eggs (actually equivalent to raw eggs boiled in water) with English muffins, ham and Dutch sauce (English name hollandaise sauce) are completed.

QUESTIONS:

What’s the difference between eggs Benedict and eggs Florentine?

Eggs Benedict starts with a toasted English muffin. Then comes a slice of Canadian bacon and a poached egg. The whole thing is covered in deliciously tangy and warm Hollandaise sauce. Eggs Florentine is Eggs Benedict with the addition of steamed spinach.

What does Hollandaise sauce taste like?

It is a rich and decadent egg-based sauce with an almost creamy, buttery flavor but can vary from tangier to sweeter depending on the style. Hollandaise sauce can vary depending on what ingredients you add to it.

Can I poach 2 eggs at once?

Carefully pierce each egg yolk twice with a toothpick. Cover the teacups or muffin container with damp paper towel. Place on an elevated microwave-safe rack or upturned saucer (about 2cm off the turntable). Set aside for 20-30 seconds before serving, as the eggs will continue to cook.
